Phelps-Clifton Springs Community Theatre debuts ‘The Hallelujah Girls’

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Community Theatre is set to charm audiences with the Finger Lakes-area premiere of “The Hallelujah Girls” at the Phelps Arts Center this week. With performances scheduled for February 15, 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m., and a matinee on February 18 at 2 p.m., theatergoers are in for a comedic treat set in a southern spa-turned-day-spa, SPA-DEE-DAH!.

This marks the troupe’s first full-length play in the winter and its debut at the Phelps Arts Center, a historic venue with a rich past. “The Hallelujah Girls” tells the story of Eden Falls, Ga., women who, spurred by the loss of a friend, decide to seize the day to fulfill their dreams, ensuring a mix of laughter and inspiration.
