Clyde woman arrested after being found in person’s basement

The Wayne County Office of The Sheriff reports the arrest of a Galen woman following an investigation into a disturbance that occurred back in January 2024.

Deputies arrested Genoa Jackson, age 20, of Clyde after being found in the victim’s basement in a direct violation of a full stay away order of protection in January.

Jackson had fled the scene and was unable to be located at the time of the incident.  However, she was later located by deputies and arrested.

Jackson was charged with and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being released on an appearance ticket. She is to appear in Galen Court at a later date and time to answer to the charge.
