INSIDE THE FLX: Cayuga Co. Legislature Chair McNabb-Coleman talks migrant emergency order, office building damage, and economic development (podcast)

Today we kick off a new series featuring monthly one-on-one conversations with elected leaders from around the Finger Lakes and Central New York.

Aileen McNabb-Coleman was re-elected to a new term last fall, and during the Cayuga County Legislature’s reorganizational meeting – chosen by her peers to serve as chairperson through 2024. She joined us on Monday to discuss the biggest headlines of the month, including work that’s underway now to repair the Cayuga County Office Building after a damaging wind event earlier this month, as well as updates on how economic development money will be allocated moving forward, and an emergency order over the migrant crisis in the U.S.

McNabb-Coleman will join us monthly to give us updates; and in the coming days we’ll be announcing additional monthly conversations with leaders from the City of Geneva, Wayne County Board of Supervisors, Yates County Legislature, and more!
