A two-car accident in Yates County, New York, resulted in injuries to two women from Naples on Wednesday. The collision occurred around 4 p.m. on State Route 245 in the town of Middlesex. According to authorities, 71-year-old Sharon Hogan was following the vehicle ahead too closely and subsequently rear-ended it as it slowed down. The car was driven by 50-year-old Carrie Armstrong.

The accident prompted responses from the Middlesex and Rushville fire departments, Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Middlesex Ambulance, and Gorham Ambulance, who all assisted at the scene.
