The City of Auburn will conduct a public hearing to discuss its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan. The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, January 25, at 5:00 p.m., preceding the City Council meeting in the Council Chambers.
During the hearing, City Planning staff will present information gathered from community feedback and outline planned projects for the upcoming year. The CDBG program, funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, focuses on neighborhood improvements such as upgrading sidewalks and enhancing parks.
Notable past projects funded through this program include the recent completion of the new Casey Park Skate Park in November. This hearing offers residents an opportunity to learn about and discuss future development projects in Auburn, ensuring community involvement in urban planning and development.
