Light snow begins this morning bringing 2-4 inches: How will commute be?

Expect to see some snowflakes flying this morning on your commute across the region.

The Finger Lakes will see a general snowfall that should leave 2-3 inches of fresh snow on the ground for most.

Those in Central New York, or east of Cayuga or Tompkins County will have the chance to see more accumulation. However, it will all be manageable. Expect the snow to fall through afternoon, at which point it’ll taper off.

Lake effect snow will continue behind the system through Thursday, but should only effect those areas prone to getting lake snow.
