Investigation underway after pedestrian struck on Rt. 104 in Ontario; driver left scene

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports a car-pedestrian incident at 1422 State Route 104 in the town of Ontario on Saturday.

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian on State Route 104.


The pedestrian, Adam Wisecup age 34, Ontario, was walking westbound on State Route 104 and was struck by an oncoming vehicle’s side mirror.

The vehicle left the scene shortly after the incident.

Wisecup was transported by the Ontario Town Ambulance for evaluation.

The only description of the vehicle, given by Wisecup, was that it a Prius that was possibly blue or grey.

The investigation is ongoing.
