Bruce Murray, owner of Boundary Breaks Vineyard in Lodi, has been elected as the new chairman of the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) Board of Directors.
This appointment was confirmed during the IDA’s meeting on January 4. Murray, who has previously served as vice chair and secretary, takes over the position from Steve Brusso, former plant manager of Evans Chemetics, now known as Bruno Bock.
Brusso, who held the roles of chair and treasurer in 2023, will step into the vice chair position for 2024. The board’s other officers for this year include Ralph Lott of Seneca Falls as secretary and Ben Guthrie of Interlaken as treasurer.
The Seneca County IDA Board, comprising nine members, convenes monthly at the county office building in Waterloo. These meetings are scheduled for noon on the first Thursday of each month. For more information, interested parties can contact the board at 315-539-1725.
