Police arrested a Geneva resident following an investigation into three separate incidents that happened in the city over the course of six days.
On January 4 Miranda Rowley, 21, was arrested on Exchange Street for falsely reporting an incident on January 1. At that time, police say she violated an active court order.
Three days later on Sunday, January 7 Rowley was in violation of that court order again.
In both of the latter incidents – Rowley was said to have resisted arrest. She was also charged with perjury, falsely reporting an incident, three counts of criminal contempt, and one count of criminal mischief.
All of those charges will be answered at a later date.
