The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a homeless man after a foot chase and theft of over $7,000 worth of merchandise from a store at Eastview Mall.
According to deputies, the theft happened at Zales Jewelers, where 23-year-old Uriel Lopez Barrera, 23, stole over $7,228 worth of merchandise from the store.
When the larceny was reported, deputies were led on a brief foot chase before taking her into custody.
She was charged with grand larceny and transported to the Ontario County Jail after being taken into custody.
