Ithaca shooting under investigation: No injuries after W. Buffalo St. incident

On Friday, November 24, at approximately 5:08 p.m. police were dispatched to the 800 Block of West Buffalo Street following reports of gunfire.


Upon arrival, officers spoke with a witness who reported hearing several shots fired outside a business in the area. Police conducted a thorough search of the vicinity and were able to locate and collect evidence related to the shooting.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and as of now, there have been no injuries reported in connection with the gunfire.


The Ithaca Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation. They are encouraging anyone with knowledge about the shooting to come forward and provide details that could assist in resolving the case.

The police department has emphasized that individuals who wish to share information can do so anonymously.
