Waterloo resident Ricardo Marrero, 63, was arrested by local authorities on charges of harassment and menacing following his involvement in a physical altercation.
According to a police report, Marrero was engaged in a dispute that escalated to physical violence.
He is accused of pushing the victim and making unwanted physical contact. Furthermore, Marrero allegedly threatened the victim while brandishing a knife.
Additional details about the incident were not released.
Following his arrest, Marrero was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he awaits a central arraignment. An order of protection was requested for the victim. The Waterloo Police Department was supported in their response by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the New York State Police, and North Seneca Ambulance.
