DICK’S House of Sport at The Eastview Mall has officially launched its outdoor ice rink for the third consecutive year, inviting the Greater Rochester community to enjoy a variety of winter activities through February 25, 2024. T
he open-air rink, known for its vibrant atmosphere and family-friendly environment, offers a range of activities including open skating sessions and instructional programs.
This season introduces several new attractions, including ‘Glow Skate’ on Fridays starting November 24, and a special ‘Skate with a Princess’ event scheduled for January 20, 2024. Additionally, patrons have the option to enhance their experience with ‘Rent the Tent’, which provides a heated tent during open skate times. The rink is open for all ages, with pricing set at $10 for patrons 13 years and older, and $8 for children under 12. Skate rentals are available for an additional $6, and complimentary skate trainers are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The ice rink operates during specific hours throughout the week, with Thursdays and Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from 12 pm to 6 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm. Special hours apply on Black Friday and during holiday periods. Located at 200 Eastview Mall in Victor, NY, DICK’S House of Sport continues to offer a unique winter experience, blending recreational skating with special events to cater to the community’s diverse interests.
