Tonawanda man gives false ID after accident in Waterloo

In the early hours of November 11 deputies apprehended Donald L. Spencer, 24, of Tonawanda, New York, following a property damage incident.

The arrest occurred around 3:09 a.m. in the Village of Waterloo, where deputies were called to respond to a vehicle accident.

Investigations at the scene revealed that Spencer had provided a false name and date of birth to the deputies.

The misrepresentation was an attempt to avoid repercussions for operating a commercial motor vehicle on a New York state roadway with only a New York State Non-Driver ID.

This discovery led to Spencer’s arrest on charges of false personation, classified as a Class B Misdemeanor.

Following the arrest, Spencer was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing. He was later released with an appearance ticket.

Spencer is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
