A three-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 104 and Lincoln Road sent one woman to the hospital, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred when a cement truck abruptly re-entered the eastbound lane, causing subsequent rear-end collisions involving two other vehicles. Anne Dapolito, 67, unable to stop in time, collided with the truck and was subsequently struck by a vehicle driven by Aaron Burley, 31.

Dapolito, a resident of Lyons, was transported to Rochester General Hospital by Ontario Town Ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Burley, from Williamson, reported no injuries following the incident. The cement truck driver left the scene before law enforcement arrived, leaving the authorities without further details on the truck or its operator.

The Sheriff’s deputies received support from the Ontario Fire Department, Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad, and Wayne County EMS personnel at the scene of the accident.
