The Seneca County Women’s Coalition is actively seeking nominations for its esteemed “Woman of the Year” award, an annual celebration set for March.
The coalition aims to honor a woman who has significantly impacted her community. Previous honorees, including notable figures such as Jan Carraccilo, Jane Sessler, Judge Kathy Jans-Duffy, and last year’s awardee, Coreen Lowry, have all played pivotal roles in enhancing the quality of life in Seneca County.
Funds raised from the event are generously donated to the recipient’s charity of choice.
In its 50-year history, the event has supported various local nonprofits, such as Pathway Home, American Red Cross, and the Seneca Falls Historical Society.
