Geneva School District announces the appointment of Nicole Campbell as its new director of technology.

Campbell has been an integral part of the district since 2012, beginning her journey as a math teacher and instructional coach, transitioning to a technology integrator, and then ascending to the role of assistant principal of Geneva Middle School in 2022.

Superintendent Bo Wright lauded Campbell’s extensive experience in the district, emphasizing her combined expertise in educational technology, school leadership, and education. “We are excited to welcome her to her new position,” Wright added.

Campbell steps in following the departure of Katie McFarland, who has taken up a position outside the district. Superintendent Wright expressed gratitude for McFarland’s contributions, acknowledging the advancements she ushered in during her tenure.

Campbell’s educational qualifications include a master’s in education with a specialization in education technology from Nazareth College, two bachelor’s degrees from Keuka College in adolescent education and mathematics, and a certificate in educational leadership from SUNY Oswego.
