Tractor-trailer driver ticketed after crash on 5&20 in Seneca Falls: Teen sent to Strong Hospital with injuries

The Seneca Falls Police Department provided an update on an accident that happened during the early-morning hours on September 22.


Accoridng to a news release, Zachariah Brown, 35, was operating a tractor-trailer, traveling west on Route 5&20 when he attempted to make a U-turn using the Bonadent driveway.

Police say as Brown pulled back into traffic he passed through a red signal and pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle operated by 19-year-old Logan Haight.

Haight’s vehicle sustained serious damage and he was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

According to police, Brown was ticketed for unsafe turn and passing through a red light.

The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the State Department of Transportation. DEC was notified of the fuel spill caused by the tractor-trailer.
