Deputies say a Wolcott man faces an array of charges following a crash investigation in the town of Huron late-Saturday.
Brett Shaffer, 25, was charged with DWI, operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs, refusal to submit a breath test, unlicensed operation, and other charges following an investigation into a crash on Garner Road.
It’s alleged that Shaffer had operated a vehicle under the influence of drugs. Deputies asked him to participate in field sobriety tests after being located near the scene.
Deputies said he admitted to having operated the vehicle immediately preceding the accident, and agreed to participate in field sobriety tests.
He failed those and was subsequently transported to the Wayne County jail for processing, where he refused a chemical test of his blood or urine.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
