A Waterloo village resident, Brian Macgill, is facing a five-year prison sentence following his arrest in a drug bust that occurred in March.
The Finger Lakes Times reports that Seneca County Judge Barry Porsch delivered the sentence after Macgill entered a guilty plea to a felony charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The 50-year-old was arrested along with two other residents, Kristie and Mark Pontius, after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence on Stark Street, where all three were living at the time.
Legal proceedings regarding the Pontiuses are still underway, according to First Assistant District Attorney Dave Mashewske.
