Tompkins Financial Advisors (TFA) is bolstering its trust advising team with the recent appointment of Heather L. Berry as vice president and trust officer for its Central New York market. With over two decades of fiduciary and paralegal experience under her belt, Berry is poised to oversee the administration of trusts for both new and longstanding TFA clients.
Senior vice president and managing director at TFA, Jennifer L. Green, expressed high regard for Berry, stating, “Heather’s profound expertise and unwavering commitment to clients solidify her role as a pivotal advisor and leader within our organization.” Green went on to convey the company’s confidence that Berry’s insights would be invaluable to clients and internal teams alike.
Before her TFA tenure, Berry enriched her professional journey at Sugarman Law Firm, LLP, as a paralegal and later as a fiduciary strategist at Key Private Bank. A proud alumnus of Johnson & Wales University, Berry also boasts a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation from the American Bankers Association. Outside her professional realm, she holds significant roles within the Estate Planning Councils of both Central New York and Tompkins County and dedicates her time to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York’s Board of Trustees.
