Rochester man sentenced to 15 years in prison for Auburn bar shooting

Antoine Clark, a 39-year-old from Rochester, received a 15-year prison sentence followed by five years of post-release supervision for his involvement in a 2022 gunfight outside the Lavish Lounge Bar & Restaurant.

The altercation, which transpired on June 26 at 288 Genesee St., left an uninvolved bar employee seriously injured. Judge Thomas Leone handed down the sentence in Cayuga County Court on Thursday.

Clark, one of two shooters that day, faced multiple charges, including first-degree assault and weapon possession. Under a prior agreement, which was reported by The Citizen he was sentenced for both weapon possession offenses, with these sentences running concurrently, thereby resolving his other charges.

The Citizen reported that the employee underwent emergency surgery at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse and was later discharged.
