Authorities in Seneca County have arrested David C. White, 58, of Waterloo, following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office’s Family Services Unit.
White, a level 3 sexual offender, was taken into custody on September 8 over allegations stemming from an early-September incident at his home in Junius.
It is alleged that White subjected a child under the age of thirteen to sexual contact while other children, younger than 17, were also present at his home and under his care. These children were allegedly left alone with White during the incident.
In light of the investigation’s findings, White faces charges of first-degree sex abuse, forcible touching, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Following his arraignment in the Seneca County Central Arraignment Court, White was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. He is expected to reappear in court at a later date for further proceedings.
