Marking 175 years as a leader in industrial pump innovation, ITT, Inc.’s Goulds Pumps hosted an anniversary event last week, donating a total of $33,400 to four charitable organizations: The United Way of Seneca County, Ronald McDonald House, National Women’s Hall of Fame, and Habitat for Humanity.
Attendees enjoyed a car show, health fair, live music, and food, while representatives from the benefiting charities outlined the company’s philanthropic impacts. As part of their ongoing charitable commitment, Goulds Pumps offers employees the option to donate a portion of their pay to a charity of their choice.
The company, with roots tracing back to 1848 when founded by Seabury S. Gould, has evolved from creating the first all-metal well pump to delivering intelligent industrial pumping solutions to sectors like oil, gas, and mining.
Today, it remains one of ITT Industrial Process’ most enduring brands. “We are proud to use this significant milestone as a chance to support our community and acknowledge the role our employees and community have had in our sustained success,” remarked Fernando Roland, president of ITT Industrial Process. With a global presence spanning continents, the company continues to innovate, most recently with its next-generation load monitor in 2023.
