Dundee Schools will welcome a familiar face as their new superintendent in the upcoming school year.
Former Odessa-Montour superintendent, Chris Wood, has been selected for the role by the Dundee School Board during an emergency meeting this past Friday.
While the school year starts on Wednesday, Wood’s tenure in Dundee will commence on September 28, pending the appointment of his successor as principal at Bradford School.
Wood, who began his educational journey at Odessa-Montour in 2005 and rose to superintendent in 2015, will fill the position vacated by James Frame.
Frame, also an ex-Odessa-Montour superintendent, held the interim role in Dundee over the summer.
