With Major League rosters set to expand on Friday, the New York Mets are calling up 22-year-old prospect Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reported Wednesday night.
Mauricio, a switch-hitting infielder/outfielder, is hitting .292/.346/.506 with 23 home runs and 71 runs batted over 115 games at Triple-A.
