Authorities in Wayne County say an intoxicated driver was taken into custody after a vehicle pursuit on State Route 104.
Deputies attempted to stop Cody F. Shurgot, 30, of Penfield after he was observed overtaking other vehicles in a restricted passing zone.
Refusing to halt initially, Shurgot eventually stopped his car after a pursuit. Further examination revealed that Shurgot was driving under the influence, with a subsequent chemical breath test recording a BAC of 0.14%.
Shurgot faces multiple charges including DWI, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, and other violations.
The charges will be answered in Sodus Town Court at a later date.
