The Seneca Falls Convention Days Committee will honor Rev. Leah Ntuala with the 2023 Community Service Award at a ceremony taking place at the Seneca Falls Heritage & Tourism Center from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Rev. Ntuala, the first female pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, has held the position since January 2011 and played an instrumental role in local community initiatives and national projects.
In addition to her religious leadership, Rev. Ntuala is actively involved in the community, serving in the Parent Teacher Organization, the town’s Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and the Seneca Falls school district’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
