Police in Ithaca are investigating a shooting, in which a vehicle was struck by gunfire on Saturday.
A resident in the area heard the gunshots around 2 a.m. However, police were not notified until approximately 12 hours later.
When police arrived they found several rounds had hit the vehicle.
Police say there were no injuries reported. They ask anyone with information about the incident to contact IPD.
The investigation remains active.
