The Buffalo Sabres opened free agency by bringing back forward Tyson Jost on a one-year contract worth $2 million, the team announced Saturday.
Buffalo claimed Jost off waivers from the Minnesota Wild last November and it turned out to be a good addition.
Jost recorded 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists) in 59 games for the Sabres.
The 25-year-old is the third forward to re-sign with Buffalo from last season, joining veterans Kyle Okposo and Zemgus Girgensons.
Kyle leads sports coverage and hosts the Concrete Jungle podcast. Have a lead or question? Send it to [email protected].
