The Ontario County Republican Committee has officially endorsed Ruth Smith for the West Bloomfield Town Board Member position. Smith, a registered Republican, will run on the Good Governance Party line in the upcoming November 7th election. Expressing her gratitude for the endorsement, Smith stated, “I enjoy being able to serve others in various capacities and this is just another avenue to help make a difference and be a positive voice in our West Bloomfield community.”
Smith brings a wealth of experience to her campaign, holding positions as the GOP Chairwoman for the Town of West Bloomfield Committee, an active member and chaplain of the National Federation of Republican Women, and Assistant Branch Manager at Canandaigua National Bank & Trust. She is also an active volunteer in her local community, serving in various capacities at New Hope Fellowship Church and on the boards of local organizations. Smith graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University and recently completed a business leadership program at Roberts Wesleyan University, earning a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership.

In her campaign, Smith aims to keep townsfolk informed about pertinent issues and hopes to bring community concerns to the town board. She pledges to use her platform to promote accountability, advocate for responsible government, and effect positive change in the community. In an appeal to voters, Smith said, “A vote for me is for a positive future for our beloved West Bloomfield. Please vote the ‘Good Governance’ Party line.”
