Deputies arrested a 29-year-old Lyons resident on several charges after a welfare fraud investigation.
Deanna Johnson, 29, of Lyons was charged with two counts of welfare fraud, two counts of grand larceny, and three counts of offering a false instrument for filing.
All of the charges are felonies, deputies said.
The charges stemmed from an investigation into a fraud complaint where Johnson received assistance from multiple public sources and falsified information on those applications.
As result she received more than $2,242 illegally.
Johnson will answer the charges at a later date.
