Ontario County Chamber of Commerce looks to relocate

The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be selling its current property at 113-117 S. Main Street in Canandaigua and relocating to a new location.

After nearly 30 years at its downtown headquarters, the Chamber’s Board of Directors and President & CEO Ethan Fogg have determined that a new location will better serve the organization, its members, and the community.

The move will allow the Chamber to focus more exclusively on member services and regional engagement, while also creating an endowment for the future.

The decision to transition to a new home comes as the Chamber has been critically assessing its real estate and considering market opportunities, including the development of The Central on Main.

By selling the building and investing the proceeds conservatively, the Chamber aims to position itself for a more sustainable and agile future. The Chamber is currently evaluating properties in Canandaigua for its future office, meeting, and partner space. The move signifies an exciting new chapter for the Chamber and its commitment to serving its members and communities throughout the Finger Lakes region.
