Forest rangers provided an update on Tuesday about an incident they responded to in Livingston County over the weekend.
On Sunday, June 11 around 5:15 p.m. forest rangers attempted to stop a vehicle for several violations on Route 5 in Avon.
The subject, who was not identified in a press release, refused to pull over and when deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office responded, barricaded himself inside his home.
At 6:30 p.m. the subject was talked out of his home and taken into custody.
The subject was arrested for fleeing and two traffic violations.
