Carlos Carrasco allowed two runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings. The right-hander, who has a 5.71 ERA this season, has gone five innings or fewer in six of his eight starts.
Josh Walker, Drew Smith, and Brooks Raley tossed scoreless frames to keep New York in the game.
The Mets will get the day off Monday before the Subway Series begins with the Yankees on Tuesday at Citi Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
