State police: 16 count indictment follows child porn investigation

State police made two arrests after a superior court warrant was issued in Chemung County.

Phillip Youngman, 22, of Big Flats was charged with 10 counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child; and Timothy Stull, 25, of Horseheads was charged with six counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.

The charges stem from an investigation, which led to a grand jury indictment.

Details of the investigation were not released.

However, troopers said the investigations were initiated by the Corning Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and involved an investigation into Child Sexual Abuse Material being downloaded via the Internet.

Both were committed to the Chemung County Jail pending arraignment.
