The 2023 PGA Championship will be held in Rochester at Oak Hill Country Club’s East Course, a 1924 Donald Ross design. Tournament week begins Monday, May 15 with three days of practice rounds, and then the competition dates are Thursday, May 18 through Sunday, May 21.
In the video below, The Fried Egg discusses the course’s history and design with club historian Fred Beltz and consulting golf architect Andrew Green. In 2020, Green was hired by the club to prepare it for this year’s PGA Championship and restore as much of Ross’s original design as possible.
