Alfred E. Piombino will teach an in-person seminar at Cayuga Community College for those interested in becoming a New York State Notary Public. The seminar on Thursday, May 11 runs from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Auburn Campus.
This practical seminar helps prepare participants to successfully pass the New York State written examination. It will also cover the recent February 2023 release of the newly designated NYS Electronic Notary or “eNotary” and Remote Online Notarization (RON) programs. New mandatory journal requirements for all New York Notaries will also be discussed, in addition to other new rules and regulations.
Four sample examinations are provided to every participant as a self-study aid for review after the seminar. Attendance at this seminar is a must for every applicant to properly prepare for the duties, authority and responsibilities of holding a New York State Notary Public commission. All participants will receive two books written by the speaker – Notary Public Register and Recordkeeping Protocols and Notary Public Handbook: A Guide for New York.
