Auburn man pleads guilty to sex crime against child

An Auburn man will spend years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.


William Roth, 51, pleaded guilty to the charge and is set to be sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Sentencing is officially scheduled for August 10.

Roth also pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender and possession of a sexual performance by a child under 16 years old. He will receive concurrent sentences of 1 to 3 years for each of those counts.
