Power outages were reported across the Finger Lakes and Central New York during the afternoon and evening hours.
The National Weather Service activated high wind warnings and wind advisories as gusts in excess of 45 and 55 mph were forecasted.
The High Wind Warning was active for Monroe County and points west toward Buffalo. This is where the strongest of winds were expected. Gusts to 60 mph are possible through the overnight hours.
The Wind Advisory was active for the remainder of the region with gusts up to 45 mph being expected.

Small tree limbs, power outages, and other minor damage is possible tonight, so if you’re hitting the road- use caution and watch for debris.
