State police: Inadequate tail lights lead to DWI arrest in Williamson

State police arrested a Wolcott man following a roadside investigation in the town of Williamson.

On March 16th troopers observed a vehicle without adequate tail lights on State Route 104.


They performed a traffic stop, finding the operator, identified as 35-year-old Michael Phillips, of Wolcott intoxicated.

He was charged with DWI, operating a vehicle with a BAC over 0.08%, and open container.

The charges will be answered in local court at a future date.
