Geneva Chamber hosts business after hours

The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its March Business After Hours Networking Mixer at the Experience Center at the Dove Block on Wednesday March 8. Located at 465 Exchange St. in downtown Geneva, the historic site offers a glimpse into the life of Arthur Dove, one of the original American abstract painters, and the building’s former owner. The event took place on the renovated third-floor former studio space, which has been completely modernized, yet still features a replica wall containing two dozen of Dove’s paintings positioned as they were in 1938. Today, this unique space offers a view into the past while providing an opportunity to create memories for the future- as it is available to rent for special events and meetings. During the Chamber’s Mixer, guests were able to take tours of the building, watch a video presentation and participate in a question-and-answer session with the Experience Center staff where they learned more about the history of the building and its current uses.

The next Business After Hours Networking Mixer will be held on Wednesday April 12, from 4-6 PM at The Wildflower Inn in Geneva. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members and is included for all 2023 BAH Season Pass holders. Reservations are required one week in advance. Please contact the Chamber via email at [email protected] for more information.

Business After Hours are held on the second Wednesday of each month 4 – 6 PM, unless otherwise noted. They are open to the public, but hosting is one of the promotional opportunities that is only offered to Chamber customers.
