The Buffalo Bills made their first move in free agency on Monday, agreeing to a three-year contract with guard Connor McGovern worth $23 million, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garrafolo.
McGovern, 25, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 45 games, starting 29 of them.
McGovern will join left tackle Dion Dawkins, center Mitch Morse, guard Ryan Bates, and right tackle Spencer Brown on the offensive line. Rodger Saffold, who started all 17 regular season games for Buffalo this past season and struggled, is a free agent.
Note: This deal will not become official until the new league year begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
