One person died in a house fire in the village of Penn Yan over the weekend.
First responders were called to an address on North Avenue after a fire broke out a little after 6 a.m.
Investigators are working the cause of the fire.
However, one unidentified victim died in the fire.
Penn Yan, Himrod, and Benton fire departments responded to the scene.
