The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a few counties in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier.
While no one will see heavy snow, light to moderate snow will overtake the region during the afternoon hours.
It will continue through the overnight before settling down early-Monday.
The heavier snow will fall to the south and east of the Finger Lakes reigon, with locations around Binghamton and Elmira seeing 4-6 inches of total accumulation.
The Winter Weather Advisory is active for Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tompkins counties.
