Deputies report the arrest of a Farmington man following an investigation.
Details of the investigation were not released.
However, Travis Domville, 33, of Farmington was taken into custody in Bloomfield on one felony charge.
Domville was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
In New York, first-degree criminal contempt refers to the act of intentionally disobeying a court order. This can include actions such as failing to pay child support or violating a restraining order.
It is considered a class E felony and is punishable by up to four years in prison.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
