Vacancy filled on Tompkins County Legislature by former library director

Susain Currie has been selected to fill the empty seat on the Tompkins County Legislature.

The Ithaca Voice reported this week that after the tragic passing of Henry Granison, Tompkins Democrats have chosen the former library director to fill the void.

Currie will represent District 3.

An election is going to be held January 24th. No other candidates have come forward, so it appears Currie will run unopposed.

Currie was the director of the Tompkins County Public Library from 2009 to 2017.
