The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a sexual assault by a person who has gone by two different names.
Troy Grey, age 33, of Palmyra was arrested for second-degree criminal sex act, a Class D felony, after an investigation into a sexual assault that took place between October and November.
The victim in the case was under 15 years old.
Grey was released on his own recognizance and will appear in court at a later date on the charges.
Deputies said Grey was formerly known as Troy Klingensmith. Anyone with information about this crime or other incidents involving Grey should contact the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
