Voters in the Fishers Fire District will head to the polls on Tuesday, December 13th.
Current Fire Commissioner Kyle Fischer will be stepping down at the end of the year with one of two candidates seeking to fill the role starting a new term on January 1st.
The position is voluntary and unpaid. Terms are five-years long. Residents will be able to vote at the Fishers Fire Station No. 2 on High Street in Victor between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The District is dealing with a number of high-profile issues, including merger talks with the Victor Fire Department, and ways to lower the tax burden on residents.
Anthony Carfagno and Jean Krym are both running for a coveted spot on the commission.
