Police say one person is in custody after a robbery at gunpoint was reported at a city convenience store.
On December 5th around 5:30 p.m. IPD responded to 124 South Cayuga Street for a call of a male who robbed the Ithaca Mini Mart with a handgun.
Upon arrival, police obtained a description and located a male in the area who matched it.
The male was approached and taken into custody without incident. A black revolver BB gun was found on his person, police added in a press release.
Sheng Ke, age 40, of Ithaca was charged with second-degree robbery, a Class C felony.
Ke was arraigned and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 secured bond.
